The union fittings are great. But..... the 80-120 degree F range is nonsense... the maximum output temp I got was 110 degrees - several thermometers right at the discharge from the valve. So if you want to use it for the kitchen, you'll want to pipe the dishwasher separately. This held true for both units that I got.

The valve is high quality. It comes with 1/2 and 3/4 fittings and check valves. Its maximum temperature is about 115 F after mixed.
