| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Most people turn to central or window ACs to find respite from the summer heat, but such cooling systems tend to be costly to operate. As such, if you only need to cool certain areas of your home, think beyond the traditional central or window unit and look to a portable air conditioner instead.
As one of the Soleus's newest product offering, the LX-100 portable AC is the ideal spot cooling solution for small spaces, bedrooms, or offices, but consumes little energy. It provides 10,000 BTUs of cooling in one compact, low-profile unit. Operating at only 46 dB (A), the LX-100 is also quiet and won't disturb your indoor environment. Best of all, auto-evaporative technology means there's little to no water condensation build-up to empty. Also included are a remote control, built-in casters, patented WAVEFLOW® automatic louvers, and timer.
Furthermore, unlike other portable ACs which can only cool, the Soleus LX-100 is also multi-functional. The unit can dehumidify up to 50 pints per day, and when not in cooling mode, it can also work as an electric fan. Moreover, the LX-100 also functions as a 1350-watt space heater.

| Customer Reviews: Disappointed! October 27, 2008 Jian Bin Chen 0 out of 6 found this review helpful
I bought LX-100 because it has multifunctional features. I tried to use the dehumilifier mode without two hoses connecting to window slot, and it never gets a single drip of water in the tank. Very disappointed!
Heater is claimed to be the most powerful 110 volt heater on the market, but it blows out very little warm air. worst of all, the left side of panel is actually blowing out the COOL AIR!!
